Deleting your Domain Name

If you already have a domain name registered, you can delete it from your Control Panel within the Money Back Grace Period*. Deleting a domain name will immediately stop all functionalities (like the website and emails) associated with the domain name. Also, a domain name explicitly deleted would entitle you to a refund of the entire amount, and there would be a charge of HRK 4.919 for the Deletion.

IMPORTANT
  • The above Money Back Grace Periods are applicable if you are registering your domain name now.
     
  • If you had registered your domain name previously, these values may have changed since. Contact our Support Team at hr-hosting@hr-hosting.net to confirm the Money Back Period for your domain name.
     
  • Domain names under the following extensions cannot be deleted from within the Control Panel since they do not have a Money Back Period:
    • .UK
    • .WS
    • CentralNic**domain names
       
    If you still wish to have such a domain name deleted without refund, you need to get in touch with us at hr-hosting@hr-hosting.net and request the same.
     
  • A domain name deleted in the Money Back Period does not slip into Redemption Grace Period and is immediately available for fresh registration.
     
  • CentralNic** domain names include the following:

    .EU.COM, .GB.COM, .AE.ORG, .KR.COM, .US.COM, .QC.COM, .DE.COM, .GB.NET, .NO.COM, .HU.COM, .JPN.COM, .UY.COM, .ZA.COM, .BR.COM, .CN.COM, .SA.COM, .SE.COM, .SE.NET, .UK.COM, .UK.NET and .RU.COM.

Follow the procedure outlined below to delete a domain name within the Money Back Period from your Control Panel:

  1. Login to your Control Panel, search for the domain name that you wish to delete and proceed to the Order Details view. Click here to read how >>
     
  2. On this page, click the Delete link.
     
  3. On the next page, you would be displayed the amount that will be refunded to you upon Deletion. On confirming Deletion, the domain name would be immediately deleted.

IMPORTANT

When a .TEL domain name is registered, an account for accessing the .TEL Hosting Control Panel is automatically created by the System. This account gets automatically deleted once the corresponding .TEL domain name is deleted.
